PLEASE SEND ANY COMMENTS YOU MAY HAVE TO wiwy@wangsdojo.com THANKS

If you have a question that is not listed here, please go to the website :
www.wangsdojo.com/wiwy, and go to the forum page. Tell about your problem and
we'll try to answer any question you might have!!
======================================================================================

Installation:
1) What is the minimum system requirement?
Most of the time, if your computer can play Shadow Warrior smoothly,
your computer will play 'When I Was Young'. However, we do
recommend at least a Pentium 133 with 16+ MB of RAM for acceptable
performance. No 3D Accelerator will be needed at all. We also do
not recommend playing with high resolutions, as it slows down the
frame rate in 'When I Was Young' significantly, unless you have a
	good computer.

2) How do you install this thing?
Simply unzip all files into your Shadow Warrior directory.
	Then follow these steps:

	MS-DOS Users
	------------
From the command prompt, in the Shadow Warrior directory, just type
WIWY and press enter. The game will launch itself.

	Windows 95/98
	-------------
	a) Double click on Wiwywin.exe
	b) A start-up menu will pop up.
	c) Select the "Desktop" button to to put a WIWY Icon on your Desktop.
That way, the next time you want to play 'When I Was Young', you
can simply click on the icon on the desktop.
	d) Click on "Single Play" or "Multi Play" to play a Single-player or
	   Multi-player game; click on "Read Me" to read the read me (wiwy.txt);
click on "Quit Now" to exit the start-up menu.

3) Won't this installation thing put in tons of files into my Shadow Warrior
    directory?
Not at all!! Ben Smit's launcher will extract all the files you need
when you start the game, and group them together when you quit, so
you never have more than about 6 files in your directory!! Even if
the game crashes, the files will be grouped together again the next
time you launch 'When I Was Young'.

4) How do I uninstall?
Sad as it is, some day you will want to uninstall 'When I Was Young'.
	Just follow these simple steps:

	a) Click on the WIWY Icon that you should have already put on your
Desktop to launch the start-up menu.
	b) Click on "Uninstall WIWY" to uninstall.

5) My installation hangs at start-up, or my copy of installed WIWY simply
doesn't load!! What do I do?
If this occurs, you are low in memory!! Try to make some space
for 'When I Was Young' by deleting some unwanted files.

6) I experience difficulty playing WIWY with my UK version of Shadow Warrior
(in which Lo Wang throws darts instead of shurikens). Help!!
The launcher is no longer compatible with either of the two UK
registered versions of Shadow Warrior. If you have a UK version of
Shadow Warrior you can download the original SW.EXE (US version)
from the PROASM website at :
		ftp://venus.dbn.lia.net/users/bens/public/swusa.zip
Once you have the original SW.EXE there should be no problem with WIWY.

Gameplay:
1) How do I start a single-player game?
In DOS, under your Shadow Warrior directory, type in "WIWY.com", and
a simple menu should appear, in which you can choose to start a
	single-player or a multi-player game.

Or, in Windows 95 or 98, click on the WIWY Icon to launch the start-up
menu. Click on the "Single Play" button to play.

2) Then what do I do?
After you choose the single-player option, the game launches. You
will come to the main menu, where you should choose "New Game" if
this is your first time playing, or "Load Game" if you already have
games saved. If you choose "New Game", you may choose the difficulty
	setting that best suits you.

3) How do I start a multi-players game?
In DOS, under your Shadow Warrior directory, type in "WIWY.com", and
in the menu, choose "multi-player". Then simply follow the Shadow
Warrior Setup menu, and launch your multi-player game.

Or, in Windows 95 or 98, click on the WIWY Icon to launch the start-up
menu. Click on the "Multi Play" button to launch a multi-player game.

Remember, while most levels are WB-compatible, very few aren't. But
worry not -- even if you choose a level that is not WB-compatible,
the game will NOT go out of sync. Instead, very simply, the game
will tell you that this particular level is not WB-compatible.

4) Hey, I'm stuck in a level and I can't find my way out!!
Don't worry -- go to the website (www.wangsdojo.com/wiwy) and go to the
forum page. State the level name and the problem you have with the
level, the team will give you hints or solutions to your problem.
Don't forget we also have a 'Walkthrough' page on the website.

Technical Problems:
1) I can't extract files from your GRP file!! Why?
Well, when you can't, you can't };-p The files are blended into the
GRP file in such a way that you cannot extract files from it. This
is due to some copyright issues.

2) How come some of my old art files (or other files) disappeared?
When the game launches, if you have a file that uses the same file
name as a file in 'When I Was Young', then your file will be backed
up. Don't worry -- your file is not lost. If you look closely, you
will find your files with last two letters of their extensions
swapped. If you want to use them, simply rename them with the
	correct extension.

4) The game CRASHED!!!! What do I do?
The game very very rarely crashes. The reasons for the game to crash
may vary, but they are usually not the level's fault. Most of the
time, it is because of the way your computer reacts with certain
commands, so crashing locations vary from computers to computers.
When this happens, simply start the game again, and it should not
	happen any more.

5) The game KEEPS CRASHING!!!! What do I do?
If the game keeps crashing, I would strongly recommend you to play
'When I Was Young' in DOS instead of Windows.

6) When I'm just playing my good old Shadow Warrior -- NOT WIWY -- I still
    see WIWY's art!! What happened?
Your last WIWY game probably crashed, so the WIWY files weren't
properly grouped back together. To solve the problem, simply
load WIWY again, and the launcher will do a "Crash Recovery", which
should solve this problem. Quit WIWY, then load up Shadow Warrior
again. You should not see any more WIWY arts now.

7) Can I play WIWY with 3dfx?
I'm sorry, but it is not possible. Our launcher program does not
support it. While there is a way to fix it by yourself, it is too
complicated, and one false move will screw up a lot of things. So
we decided NOT to support -- or even tell you how to use -- 3dfx.
Don't bother emailing us on this matter -- we're sorry, but
	we can't help you.
